c:\Windows\SysWOW64\cmd.exe - Opens every time

Postby brother0815 on Tue Feb 08, 2011 7:18 am

Hello all.

When I try to connect to a Remotehost from my Windows7 (x64) with DNTU7.1 installed a cli opens 2 times which tells me the following

C:\Windows\system32>Copy C:\PROGRA~2\DAMEWA~1\DAMEWA~1.1\DWRCSH~1.X64 C:\Windows
\dwrcs\DWRCSh.dll
Das System kann den angegebenen Pfad nicht finden. (means: cannot find path)
0 Datei(en) kopiert. (means: no fles copied)
Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste . . .

What does that mean. How can i make it stop.

Thanks Lars

Hi Lars,

Thanks very much for all your feedback.

From what we can tell, one of our builds must have been missing a file "DWRCSHRegister.cmd". All you should have to do to resolve this behavior is to manually create the dwrcs folder on your local machine under your Windows Installation folder. For example: C:\Windows\dwrcs.

Once you manually create this folder on your local machine you should no longer see this error.

Your feedback is appreciated.

Hey good morning Bryan.

thank you very much. The problem was solved with the creation of the Folder. Even the UAC sopped bothering me all the time after the DWRCSH.dll was copied.
I really appreciate your Help.
