DNTU command line options?

Postby acmp on Tue Jul 10, 2007 10:32 am

I'm currently writing some admin scripts in KixTart and am trying to integrate DameWare into them.

I am not having any problems with the MRC client as it clearly supports command line input, what I would like to do though is call DNTU with a pc host name and get the DNTU window to load with this host selected (maybe even open a standard window such as Processes).

I can support com if necessary.

Can this be done? (ie can I launch DNTU with some params and get it to find the host...)

Hi acmp,

Unfortunately, DNTU doesn't accept any command line parameters at this time. I will be happy to forward this to our developer, but I just cannot make any promises.

Thanks Bryan,

It's good to know that I haven't missed something.

What I was after was simply the ability to start DNTU and have it focus on a host. Possibably get it to open a standard window, such as Processes.

I'd imagined that something like

Code: Select all
dntu.exe /Dom:MyDomain /Host:Computername /Window:Processes

I'll keep an eye out in future releases, just in case ;)
